About Me
Hello! I'm Maria, a practicing witch with over 20 years of experience, as well as an enthusiastic tarot reader and collector of tarot decks.
My journey into witchcraft began in the land of fairytales, Germany, when I was just 13. How could one not believe in magic when surrounded by enchanting woods and storybook castles? I grabbed any book I could find on witches, which was fairly limited. While I didn’t have the resources we have today, I was hooked.
Now living in SC with my little family of witches, I've become a witchcraft photographer, co-host of the Coffee & Cauldrons podcast, and and still finding myself getting lost in forests.
In my photography, I blend the seen with the unseen, capturing images that reflect the magick I experience in my own practice.
Nearly five years ago, Robyn Valentine and I founded the Coffee & Cauldrons Podcast, which has only grown. Our podcast features main episodes with moon forecasts, tarot insights, discussions on magical themes, and highlights of our current magickal interests. Additionally, our smaller episodes, 'Coffee Talk,' include listener-submitted stories and casual chats about our lives.
Tarot holds a special place in my heart and practice. From an artist's perspective, I appreciate the opportunity to carry mini-galleries of different artists and I use tarot a lot within my own practice for guidance and to get different perspectives on situations. I believe in its power to aid in healing and offer alternative viewpoints, allowing us to tap into our inner knowledge and connect with our guides.
In May of 2019, I made the decision to extend my knowledge and practice to help others. While I typically read for regular, long-term clients, I occasionally have openings announced to my Magickal Beginnings Coven members first.
